First Prize at the Young Talent Competition for Special STEM Ideas

This weekend the 116th MNU National Congress took place in Saarbrücken. The award ceremony of the Young Talent Competition for Special STEM Teaching Ideas was also held there, awarded by the MNU and Ernst Klett Verlag. The Eskuel Suite was awarded 1st prize! Fellow members of the winning team included Madlen (with an exciting murder mystery about exponential functions!) and Gina-Maria (with an innovative exploration of DNA mechanisms!). Together, we were able to draw inspiration from the many events at the congress.

The entire congress was a fantastic event: full of excellent talks and workshops, and many kind and inspiring people, including professionals in mathematics and computer science education, teachers with decades of experience, an entrepreneur who impressively combines mathematics with Erlebnispädagogik, professors, tinkerers, creators of educational material, and many other creative minds. I also used the opportunity to apply for MNU membership.
